Q:   Are we limited to the church & reception site alone for photographs?
A:   Not at all! Depending on the cooperation of Florida State weather- you are unlimited in the places you would like to have photographs taken. Be creative, different and make your wedding day your own. My package price includes time at your home for bridal preparation, the church, the reception, that special place you’ve been looking at and even your hair salon if you so desire.  The limitations are only your imagination and time frame.

Q:   Do you do traditional or photojournalistic photos?
A:   HG Photography combines the best of both worlds with posed and candid photography.  Some couples want more of one type than the other- just let me know!

Q:   Are the photos on the CD’s watermarked?
A:   No. All of the photos on your CD are yours. They are digitally enhanced and retouched. You can print off any number you would like, where you would like, when you would like.

Q:  Will we get into trouble for printing off the pictures from the CD?
A:  HG Photography provides you with a release that allows you to make prints from the photo CD. Most photo labs require this release. However, the copyright remains with HG Photography and you are not allowed to make profit, enter in a contest or claim said images as your own.

Q:  Is tax included in the package price?
A:  Tax is not included. There is an area on the bottom of the contract that designates that FLORIDA State Sales Tax must be added to packages. HG Photography is a registered business that by law is required to collect and report sales tax to FLORIDA State.

Q:  Do you charge for travel cost?
A:  Travel cost is included in the price up to 50 miles. Additional mileage is $30 for every 50 miles.

Q: We want you for our wedding date, could you please hold it until we can get the deposit to you?
A:  HG Photography can only hold your date with a deposit. I apologize for any inconvenience, but due to past experience and my on going effort to provide the best service to couples I cannot hold a specific date as a favor. Although I will do my best to accommodate you for a reasonable period of time in order to have you send your deposit in, wedding dates are on a first come first serve basis.

Q:  How do we get our deposit, package selection & contract to you?
A:   You may send HG Photography your deposit and paperwork via snail mail to the information on the contact page.  Also, for convenience I   accept email submissions with PayPal deposits.

Q:   We just love a certain style photo you take- may we request that?
A:   Absolutely! Please note however, due to time constraints, type of requested images and availability, we may have to work out which photos are your “must haves” based on the package you have chosen due to some images requiring extra staging or post processing time.

Q: We have a list of photos of specific people we would like photographed with us, is that okay?
A: Not a problem at all.  I suggest that you have a list of specific people for photo requests and a designated individual who can identify your “Uncle Tim and Cousin Crystal ” by name.  

Q: Any tips or advice for making wedding photography to go smooth?
A:   If you want a specific photo of a family member who ducks out of the camera frame, let me know- there are ways to capture that relative who is always MIA.  Sometimes requesting what you would like of that person beforehand will eliminate problems on your wedding day.  Bring lip-gloss to keep your lips moist, as you will be smiling a lot. Try to avoid looking directly at the flash (if used), instead focus on the camera lens.  Also, try to relax, it will definitely show in your photographs.
